ROOTED IN FAMILY HISTORY

OUR ORIGINS

THE YOST BARN

Today, The Yost Barn stands as a beautiful testament to a rich family legacy and a vision brought to life. Originally established by Kyanne Yost’s great-grandparents, the farm was once a thriving dairy and vegetable operation. It was a place where the fruits of hard work and dedication could be seen in every field and barn.

In 2012, Kyanne, following in her family's footsteps, purchased the farm from her grandparents. With a deep appreciation for its history and a passion for horses, she transformed it into Irish Rose Stables, a premier horse boarding facility. The transformation was just beginning. By 2017, Kyanne expanded the farm significantly, adding the largest stable on the property, an indoor riding arena, and additional facilities to accommodate the growing needs of the stables.

The farm’s charm and potential for hosting special events were realized in 2022 when Kyanne and her husband, Sean, decided to celebrate their wedding on the very land that had been part of her family history. This decision sparked a major renovation of The Yost Barn and the Carriage House from May 2023-October 2023. The couple invested in new floors, updated lighting, and windows, as well as reconstructing the barns to create an open and inviting floor plan. The addition of two custom bars, four new barn sliding doors, and carefully planned landscaping transformed the farm into a stunning venue for their celebration.

In October 2023, Kyanne and Sean celebrated their wedding amidst the backdrop of their newly renovated farm, blending personal history with new beginnings. The Yost Barn now stands not only as a cherished equestrian facility but also as a unique and picturesque 70- acre horse farm wedding venue reflecting the love and dedication of the Yost family’s legacy.
